Gabriel Guillen was born in Maracay Venezuela. He began studying guitar at 8 years with the Uruguayan guitarist Mario Vidalin who introduces him to the art of Abel Carlevaro and spirit of the Argentine and Uruguayan music.
He has already won several awards in South America when he obtained a scholarship to study in Europe and moved the same year in Vienna, Austria. His talent is recognized worldwide and he now teaches at the Conservatoire Joseph Haydn Eisenstadt and in master classes.
