biography
The Eos Guitar Quartet was founded in 1985. One year later a triumphant debut in various Swiss cities followed. Marcel Ege, Martin Pirktl, David Sautter and Michael Winkler got to know each other during their studies at Zurich Academy of Music. All four graduated with concert or soloist diplomas at Zurich, Basle and Berne conservatories, and went on to deepen their musical know-how in various master courses held by internationally reputed artists. The numerous Eos Guitar Quartet concerts throughout Europe have met with enthusiastic public acclaim and media response, likewise their radio and TV performances.
